The first thing men experience is emission of semen into the posterior urethra, giving them an intensely pleasurable sense that orgasm is inevitable. Once this occurs, some men can prolong the duration for a few seconds, but there is no holding back. Ejaculation of semen from the urethra is the usual obvious outcome. Women don’t exhibit emission or ejaculation, but have the same feelings of inevitability. They experience a rhythmic contraction of the pelvic muscles and uterus during orgasm.
